Who is accountable for your information
AubeScreen is a service of L'Aube Étoilée (Quebec, Canada). Person in charge of personal information protection: support@aubemail.com.
What we collect, and why
- Your account: the username and email address of your AubeMail account, used to sign you in. No password is stored here.
- Your content: your business name, your screens, your posters, your messages, the images and logos you upload. They are used only to be shown on your TVs.
- Weather: the city you enter is converted once into coordinates rounded to the kilometre. Never your location.
- Paired TVs: a technical token specific to each TV, a device label (for example "Samsung TV"), the name you give it and the time it last checked in, to tell you whether it is playing. Never the full browser identifier.
- Subscription: payment is processed by Stripe. We keep only your Stripe customer identifier and the subscription status, never a card number.
- Server logs: the IP address and the requested page, kept 14 days for security, then deleted.
What we do not do
No advertising, no tracker, no third-party cookie: a single cookie, your session (and one for your language). Your information is neither sold nor shared, except with the providers the service needs: AubeMail (sign-in), Stripe (payment), Open-Meteo (weather, rounded coordinates only) and AubeNews (headlines, no information sent).
The AubeScreen TV app
The Android TV app only displays the screen.aubeetoilee.com website. It asks only for network access and the right to keep the screen on. The "display over other apps" permission is optional and only serves to relaunch the app when the TV is switched on. It accesses neither the camera, nor the microphone, nor contacts, nor files, and collects nothing beyond what the website does.
Your rights
You view and correct your information in your dashboard and on the My account page. Deleting the account immediately removes your screens, posters, images and paired TVs; your AubeMail account is untouched. For any question or complaint: support@aubemail.com. Information is hosted on L'Aube Étoilée servers and leaves the service only in the cases described above.
